Corey Alan Vaughn attends the Southside Occupational Academy in Chicago, Illinois. He has thoroughly enjoyed sketching his “Corey Face Art” since age 4. He was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age 3. He draws faces of his beloved relatives, friends, singers, and movie stars. He sees them in the image that he has of himself and is seriously meticulous about their features and colors. After completing a sketch, his face lights up with that beautiful smile that is characteristic to all who know him. Corey won the 2014 Special Olympics Calendar Art Contest for his former school, George Washington High School. Corey is very passionate about his “Face Art” and insists that they be displayed throughout his home.
