About Mitzi Clark
Mitzi began attending We Care Arts in 2013. She rolls into the room with her pink boots and a bright smile that lights up the room. Her first artistic endeavor was cross-stitch. Then, one of our instructors, Sharen, asked her to try painting some ceramic figurines. She moved on to making beaded key chains. Now she is doing all kinds of beadwork.
Mitzi loves to learn new things and enjoys coming to We Care because of her friends. The girls she sits with each week have fun together. They are a very upbeat crew and love to talk. She comes from a big family. She has three sisters and two brothers, who she says, are scattered all over the country. She lives in Warren County Ohio with a couple of roommates.
She created her artwork on an iPad. We have many art apps on our iPads that are fun to use with the touch screen. Mitzi did the swirl patterns with one finger.
We asked Mitzi if there was anything else she wanted us to know about her. She answered, “I am nice and I am cool.” The sparkly, frilly shoes she was wearing the day we were interviewing her for this event would confirm that. She is definitely cool!
